The fifth Vande Bharat train has been donated
to India. Beginning on November 11th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent two
days in the southern part of India. Meanwhile, he has presented us with a Vande
Bharat Express train that runs between Chennai and Mysore as a present. The
Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan train has also been launched under his flag. In
preparation for the visit of the PM, strict security measures were put in
place.
There are 16 coaches in the Vande Bharat Express train
carriage, and they are all executive class or chair cars. It's an improved
model of the Vande Bharat that can travel farther and faster in less time than
its predecessors.
Speciality of Vande
Bharath
The Vande Bharat Express is a futuristic
railway that is revolutionising passenger transport in India. Unlike earlier
trains, Vande Bharat 2.0 trains are equipped with the Train Collision Avoidance
System (TCAS), dubbed Kavach. Coaches are outfitted with emergency lighting and
a three-hour rechargeable battery.
The outside of the train now features eight
flat-panel side cameras, up from four. In addition, coaches include a
passenger-guard communication system with an automated speech-capture function.

Initial thoughts on the Vande Bharat Express
Similar to the Tejas, this aircraft has a
spacious entrance, a large lobby, and a sensor-operated sliding glass door that
took us to our air-conditioned cabin. As soon as you sat in your seat, you
could feel the difference: the seats hugged the commuters, the underthigh
support was far superior to the Shatabdis, the cabin was well-appointed
overall, and most importantly, the temperature was well-controlled, unlike the
cold zones that passengers on other trains have experienced in recent
years.
